Customize Checkout Process

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Checkout

Customizing the Checkout Process will allow you to control the look & feel of your checkout and determine what fields you will collect.

Style

Under the Style section, click the Customize checkout button. 

  1. Navigate to the "Theme settings" tab
  2. Click "Checkout"

UPLOAD A LOGO

Under the "LOGO" section, click the "Select image" button to upload a logo to this store. Once you have uploaded and chosen the image, you are able to change the position and size. The right side of this editor will act as a live preview. 

CUSTOMIZE STORE COLORS

Under the "COLORS" section, you will have the ability to change the below colors:

Accents: Links, highlights, and checkmarks

Buttons: Gift card/discount and next step buttons

Errors: Messages and invalid fields (typically leave this one red)

You can search for the color using the color-picker OR enter in the HEX code. The right side of this editor will act as a live preview.


Customize Checkout Settings

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Checkout

Customer accounts

Customer account- Set to "Accounts are disabled"


Customer contact

Customer contact- Set to "Customers can only check out using email"


Form Options

Full Name- Required first and last name 

Company- Required

Address line 2- Optional 

Shipping address phone number- Required


Order processing

Use the shipping address as the billing address by default- Checked

Enable address autocompletion- Checked

After an order has been paid-  Do not automatically fulfill any of the order's line items

After an order has been fulfilled and paid- Unchecked

Enable Marketing

If you would like to collect email addresses for email marketing, you can enable it in this section. 

By enabling "Preselect the sign-up option," customers will be opted-in, by default (they can choose to opt-out but deselecting the option).

Abandoned Checkouts

Automatically send abandoned checkout emails- Uncheck

If you would like to enable Abandoned checkout emails, follow these steps.


Customize Checkout Confirmation Message

After a customer makes a purchase, a confirmation page will display.

To edit the confirmation title  and confirmation message:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Checkout
  3. Click the "Manage checkout language" button in the "Checkout language" section (the last section)
  4. Go to the "Check & system" tab
  5. Go to the "Check out thank you" section (command + F & search "thank you")
  6. Edit the title under "Thank you title" and "Confirmed title"
  7. Edit the message under "Thank you description" and "Confirmed description"
  8. Click "Save"

To edit the "Need Help? Contact us" link 

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Checkout
  3. Click the "Manage checkout language" button in the "Checkout language" section (the last section)
  4. Go to the "Check & system" tab
  5. Go to the "Check out thank you" section (command + F & search "Need help")
  6. Copy the following code into "Contact us html" section and update the email
